Hi, nice to meet you. I’m Christie.

Empower Teens. Inspire Families. Unleash Teen Powerhouses.
I’ve spent most of my adult life helping teens and students uncover who they are and what they’re capable of. As a high school College Prep Teacher for nearly 15 years, I’ve worked with bright, curious, and talented teens full of potential but often unsure of how to express it. I noticed that too many teens were missing more than college guidance; they were missing self-understanding and confidence. I saw them struggle to balance expectations, manage stress, and make choices about their future that felt true to who they were.

Over time, I realized something powerful: college readiness isn’t just about applications, it’s about self-awareness. My students didn’t just need guidance on essays and resumés; they needed space to reflect, dream, and build confidence from within.
That realization changed everything. I began designing creative exercises, reflection journals, and meaningful conversations that helped students connect their inner growth to their outer goals. The results were life-changing; essays that sounded like them, resumés that included passions and projects close to their hearts, and applications that finally vibrated with their essence.
After 17 years in the classroom, I knew it was time to bring this deeper, more personal approach to more teens and their families. That’s when Teen Powerhouse Society was born, a growth hub of tools and resources where teens learn not just to get into college, but to thrive once they’re there.
If this sounds familiar, you’re not alone.
The college journey can stir up a mix of emotions… excitement, uncertainty, pressure, and hope. Teens are trying to figure out who they are and where they’re going, while parents just want to help without adding more stress.
It’s a time of transition for everyone, and that’s exactly where Teen Powerhouse Society comes in to guide, support, and bring clarity to the process for both sides.

As an introvert, stepping into the online world felt daunting. I’m not the loud, “in-your-face” type of coach. I prefer deep conversations over quick posts, quiet reflection over constant noise. For a long time, that fear of visibility held me back. I worried about how to show up authentically without losing the calm, thoughtful presence that defines who I am.
Eventually, I realized that’s exactly what teens and families needed: a voice that wasn’t shouting, but listening. A space grounded in reflection, encouragement, and truth. So I took the leap. I created Teen Powerhouse Society to blend everything I love: education, creativity, and personal growth into something that helps teens feel seen, understood, and ready for what’s next.
Now, I get to do what I was meant to do all along: empower quietly, guide deeply, and help others discover their own kind of power.
